Vermont Chiropractic & Sports Therapy is proud to provide running, swimming, biking and triathlon coaching. Dr. Travis M. Hart has a wide range of athletic backgrounds, education, personal experiences and specific strengths that will likely suit your individual needs. Dr. Hart has been trained by the USAT, studied at the Lake Placid Olympic Training Center for Elite Sports Science and principles in Training Theory and is a 2009 Ford Ironman Lake Placid participant. He has sports specific knowledge as a doctor and fellow athlete combined with the passion and energy to create a properly balanced training plan specific to you. Dr. Hart understands the need for a multi-dimensional approach to be successful in training. He knows how to optimize your training time with quality, discipline specific workouts, integrated functional strength training, flexibility, rest, recovery, nutrition and mental focus to help you reach your goals. As a Tri Vermont Chiropractic athlete you will receive a personal, customized training plan that balances your professional life, personal life, training time and leisure time.
Coaches Philosophy:
Dr. Hart believes in individual improvement and competing against one’s self. This may mean you will get podium, or it may mean that you simply finish a race. His purpose is to help you as an athlete to be better today than you were yesterday. Dr. Hart believes there is no greater thrill in athletics than knowing you have surpassed your own expectations.
Coaches Responsibilities:
More than anything Dr. Hart wants to meticulously design each training program to fit your abilities and life style. He is not a one-size fits all coach. Dr. Hart promises to be punctual in delivering training programs. If your training week begins on Monday, he will have the week of training delivered no later than midday on Sunday. It is his responsibility to take every measure possible as a coach to keep you safe during your training time. Finally, it is his job to show you the way to improvement. Dr. Hart will use all of his knowledge and resources to get you to the finish line faster.
